Hello, I'm James Paine, founder of JEP Consulting, LLC and a passionate practitioner of decision sciences and business process improvement.

I am quality and customer-focused, with marketing and business analytics acumen built on a strong technical background. With experience in the nuclear, reverse logistics, and consumer apparel industries, as both an engineer and product lifecycle-focused marketer, I am eager to contribute to the cutting edge of data-driven managerial science.

My background includes working on nuclear reactors, teaching introductory Lean Six Sigma, and most recently, product lifecycle management of bras!

While these may seem like disparate fields, my interests have always been about the intersection of data and decision making.

I love finding connections in data and helping others see the beauty in complex systems.
